Does your group meet in the evening, or on the weekend?
The Military Museums Foundation offers evening and weekend programming for Scouts, Guides and other groups wishing to visit outside of regular operating hours. For younger groups, we recommend booking 2 programs, which makes for a 1.5 hour evening. For older groups, you are welcome to select 3 programs, which makes for a 2 hour evening.
Our evening programs cost $12.00 per youth, with a minimum booking requirement of 10 participants. One free adult for every ten youth; all additional adults will cost $8.00 per person.
Please touch the artefacts! Students will be lent a pair of white curatorial gloves and instructed in safe handling methods before being given a chance to interact with artefacts ranging in period from the Great War to Afghanistan.

From tours highlighting specific concepts of interest to a general tour of your interpreter's favourite stories, let us guide you through the museums after hours!
This is our quintessential Remembrance program. From the moment the guns fell silent on 11 November 1918, to the way that we embody memory today, participants will explore the legacy of the Great War in Canada. Younger groups will concentrate on more tangible aspects of remembrance, while older groups will explore the concept in deeper historical context.
Written with Girl Guide programming in mind, but open to all learners, this tour explores the biographies of compelling Canadian women in wartime.
To book an evening of programming, fill in the Google form found at the bottom of the page. Please reference the calendar below to see if the dates you want are available. Our Education Coordinator will draft a sample schedule for you, and upon your approval, will send you a letter of confirmation for your booking. We require two weeks notice for all evening programming.

Payment is accepted either upon confirmation of booking, or upon entrance to the Museums. Groups will be required to make a single payment that includes admission for all attending students, as well as any extra adults attending outside of ratio. In-person payments are accepted in cash, debit, credit or cheque formats. In any other case, an invoice will be sent. All cheques must be made out to “The Military Museums Foundation.” Emailed receipts will be issued upon request.
Requests to change, reschedule, or cancel bookings must be sent via email 7 days in advance of your booking date to email@example.com. Any changes made to bookings after this date are subject to a $75 administration fee. Cancellations or “No Shows” will be charged for the original booking amount.
Please note: in the case of low attendance, groups that book for 25 or more will be charged a minimum of 80% of the original booking number. Groups booked with under 25 participants will be charged for a minimum of 10 participants.
